Frequently asked questions

A simple one page website can usually be built quickly once the key content, assets and access details have been provided. Timing depends on content readiness, feedback speed and whether any domain or platform setup is needed.

You’ll need to provide the core details about your business, your offer, your audience, existing copy, images, logo, brand colours, links, testimonials and access to your domain or website platform if needed.

Yes. A one page website can be a strong starting point. Extra pages, booking tools, email forms, automations, SEO improvements, case studies, blog content or a larger website can be scoped later.

If your business needs a clear place to explain what you do and give people a next step, a one page site may work well. If your needs are more complex, we can discuss whether a larger build would make more sense.

This offer does not include a full multi-page website, complex booking systems, advanced automations, e-commerce, custom software, ongoing SEO, paid ads, professional photography or long term content management unless agreed separately.

Yes. An existing website can be refreshed, restructured or rebuilt depending on what is already working and what needs to improve.

Marco Digital offers a £99 manual Website Conversion Audit to identify what may be getting in the way of enquiries and what to fix first. If you book a Marco Digital website project within 30 days of receiving the audit, the full £99 fee is credited against that project.

Yes, we offer brand new websites on stable platforms with the scope for expansion.

The platform depends on what the website needs to do.

Marco Digital can work across a range of website platforms as well as custom builds, and the recommended approach is based on the requirements of the project rather than forcing every website onto the same system.

Pricing depends on the size, complexity and functionality of the project.

Larger and custom websites are quoted individually once the scope is clear.

Every project includes custom design, responsive development, technical and on-page SEO foundations, contact or enquiry functionality and the integrations required by the agreed scope.

Copy refinement, e-commerce, booking systems, member areas and other functionality can also be incorporated where needed.

Yes.

Every website is built with technical structure and on-page SEO in mind. Keyword research, Search Console setup and additional optimisation can also be incorporated into the website project where appropriate.

Yes.

Websites can include online shops, booking systems, membership areas and other functionality where the project requires them.

There are 14 days of included support for genuine issues with the agreed build. Ongoing maintenance, updates and new requests can be arranged separately.

Timelines depend on the size of the website, required functionality and how quickly content and feedback are provided.

A straightforward multi-page website may take several weeks, while larger or more complex projects can take a few months.

One page websites follow a separate, much faster process.

No.

Existing content can be used and refined, or Marco Digital can help structure and develop the copy required for the website.

Yes.

Every website is designed to work across phones, tablets, laptops and desktop screens.

Once the agreed project is complete and paid for in full, you own the finished website and agreed project assets. You are not renting the site from Marco Digital. Relevant website, platform or source access is provided at handover where appropriate. Third party assets remain subject to their own licences.

No. There is no compulsory Marco Digital subscription to retain your website. Depending on the project, you may still pay for hosting, domain renewal or external software. Ongoing support is available if you want it.

Hosting is separate from the build unless your proposal says otherwise. The right setup depends on the website. Some lightweight coded sites can have very low hosting costs, depending on usage. Marco Digital can help configure or manage hosting, or it can sit in an account you control.

Your domain should remain in your name and under your control. Marco Digital can help register, connect, configure or transfer it when needed. We do not hold domains to keep clients locked in.

You have 14 days of included post launch support. During that period, Marco Digital will correct genuine issues with the agreed build, such as bugs, functionality not working as agreed, launch or configuration issues, and implementation errors. New features, extra pages, substantial copy changes and requests outside the agreed scope are separate work.

No. Maintenance is optional, and the amount needed depends on how your site is built. WordPress sites may need regular core, plugin, theme and security updates. A lightweight coded site may need less routine technical work, though it can still need updates and checks.

Just get in touch when you need a change. Small updates may be charged at the current £40 hourly rate. Larger additions, redevelopment or new functionality can be quoted as a project or charged at the current £500 day rate. We will agree the scope and cost before work begins.

Third party costs are separate unless your proposal includes them. Depending on the site, these might be domain renewal, paid hosting, a booking or email platform, premium plugins or other specialist software. Where practical, you should own and pay for these accounts directly.

It depends on your project. You will receive the relevant website or admin access and guidance for managing the site or requesting changes. Handover may also include hosting, domain and analytics access, details of third party services, and source files or repository access where appropriate.

Yes. You are free to use another provider. Once the agreed project is paid for, Marco Digital will provide reasonable access and relevant project files for handover. If you want us to carry out substantial migration work, we can quote that separately.
